For the first time ever, Medina High School students got the chance to show off their talents at a National level, when the Fusion team were invited to showcase their magazine at the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust 15^th Annual Conference last week.

Very bright and early on Wednesday 28^th November, fifteen members of the Fusion team travelled up to Birmingham to present their magazine to a group of Head teachers and Educational specialists.  The students presented a vibrant and exciting showcase which explained the process of Fusion from the initial idea right through to the publication of the second issue.   Each student spoke about their involvement in the project and fielded questions from an enthusiastic audience.  They also handed out Fusion goodie bags which contained information about our magazine, copies of the first and second editions and a few other special gifts.

The topic for this year’s conference was Sustaining Our Future: leading and learning and judging from the very positive feedback after Medina’s showcase, our Fusion students are certainly leading the way!  They were all extremely professional and confident in their presentation and really did Fusion and Medina High School proud!
