Having reached the first round of the Daily Mail Under 15s Cup by beating King Edward's school on their own ground, Medina sailed through the second round with a 41-12 home win over St John's, Southsea.

In a fast and very physical game, the pace and passing of the Medina back line proved to be the deciding factor. Season's first tries by Will Turner and Adam Stubbings laid the foundations, and tries from Steven Rogers (two), David Champion (two) and skipper Adam Atkins were complemented by three conversions from David Champion to round off an excellent win.
