The College values our Parent Voice and we have built on the College's previous excellent achievements which included being awarded the National Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA).
Parents have told us they wanted to know how best to support their children, how best to communicate with the College and where to turn to for help. Consequently, we have developed our Medina College Parent Voice.
Medina College Parent Voice provides a forum for parents to keep up to date with events and changes at the College. All parents and carers are members of the Medina College Parent Voice, simply by having a child at the College. We promote community spirit and our mission is to help each other supportively. If someone has a question, we will endeavour to find an answer. We are an active group of parents who are critical friends of the College. If there is an issue, then we bring this to the attention of the Headteacher, the Board of Governors and the IIT. Our voice is heard. This feedback is vital if we are to continue to raise our educational standards and further develop our sense of community. We know that parental involvement and support for their children's learning is crucial to a successful College.
