A slightly early end to the week this week, but still a very busy four days in school.
Our Year 11 students sat their final exam yesterday. I would like to congratulate all of them on the maturity that they have shown over this period and thank you for your parental support at a stressful time. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school to collect their results on Thursday 21 August.
Thursday next week sees the turn of our Year 10 students to start sitting their trial exams. This is a really important point in Year 10's journey. The outcomes of these trial exams will highlight where students have been successful and allow them to focus on areas for further work. Please support them in taking these as seriously as possible. Full details of the trial exams have been sent to parents in a letter today, along with the timetable and subject information.
As this half term progresses, we have lots of exciting events for our students planned, both in the classroom, during the school day and extra-curricular. Plans are also in place for a fantastic school sports day event - I am very much looking forward to the teamwork and collective celebration in store.
Please remember the site is closed tomorrow, but we look forward to welcoming all our students back to school on Monday 23 June.
If you are attending the Isle of Wight Festival, please enjoy it, safely. Some advice can be found here. A reminder of the traffic orders can be found here - the important message being that Fairlee Road remains one way until 1600 on Monday, 23 June.
