Welcome to Medina College

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Medina College. I am honoured to work here and be part of the strong and growing Federation with our sister Colleges of Carisbrooke and the VI Form Campus. I feel that if you really want to know what we as a community are like then I should leave it to those who work and study here to say what they genuinely feel about our wonderfully welcoming and friendly College:

Our students:
“Talented, vibrant and eager”; “A caring community that allows students to express themselves regardless of their background”; “Accepting of others, a strong sense of identity”.

Our teachers:
“They really care and give loads of time to us”; “Funny”; “Want us to do our best”.

The atmosphere around College:
“Busy, friendly, supportive”; “Lively, vibrant and caring”; “Real sense of community”.

Working at Medina:
“Fast paced, amazingly supportive and a strong sense of community”; “Gives you the opportunity to extend your practice in exciting and innovative ways”; “A pleasure, a team that really works together”; “Medina is an extension to my family”.

How will we know when we’re getting it right?
“When I look forward to every lesson!”; “When we see, hear and feel the ‘buzz’ of students learning when we enter any classroom”; “When every student achieves the best they can”; “When we all, students, staff and parents have a pride in our community”.
