A group of Year 10 students attended the iCconstruct event in Fareham recently. iConstruct is a careers event that aims to inspire students to consider a future in construction by providing hands-on activities, industry professional guidance and information on a wide range of jobs in the industry.

As a part of this, students formed teams and interviewed a construction company about an upcoming project, and then presented this to a board of experts. All the students did really well on the day, and did the school proud. One team in particular stood out and won the 'Most Enthusiastic Award', which was chosen by the company Thakeham. These students will have the opportunity to attend an awards evening in January to receive the award. Very well done to Mitchell, Jimi and George for problem-solving throughout.
