Year 7's PGL Adventure
Our Year 7's recent adventure to PGL's Little Canada was a resounding success!
Coming so early in their time at Medina, the main goal of the trip was to help students bond, make new friends and build strong relationships. These positive connections create a supportive foundation that will help set our pupils up for a successful and happy learning journey throughout their time at Medina.
The itinerary was packed with high-energy outdoor activities that pushed students out of their comfort zones and encouraged brilliant teamwork:
Vertical Challenge: Pupils showed incredible determination and grit as they tackled the climbing ropes, while supporting and encouraging their peers from the ground.
Archery: Students honed their focus and precision, cheering each other on as they aimed for the bullseye.
It wasn't all high-adrenaline action, though! The children enjoyed a delicious, well-earned lunch to refuel, and they especially loved having the chance to visit the PGL shop to pick up a few treats and souvenirs to remember the day.
We are immensely proud of how well our new pupils represented the school, supported one another and embraced every challenge. It was a wonderful start to their Medina journey!
Finally, we are incredibly grateful to our families for supporting us in making this trip happen so early in the term. Opportunities like this help our new pupils build friendships, develop confidence and create positive momentum for a successful and happy time at Medina.
