A group of young performers from Medina College were invited to play at the Isle of Wight Festival again this year. The students rocked the Bull Stage in the KidsZone on Saturday afternoon and we are incredibly proud of them all! 

From The Beatles to the Killers, the students got to showcase their incredible musicianship! 

Having the Isle of Wight Festival on our doorstep is such a fantastic opportunity for our students for many reasons. The buzz around school in the lead up to the festival is palpable, knowing that so many incredible musicians are going to be visiting and playing on our site. It encourages them to set their aspirations for the future high as dreams can come true when you work hard enough to achieve them. The performance opportunities the festival brings for our young people are often their first experience of performing on a professional stage, and it gives them a fantastic taste of what the future could be like for them.
